Option 1 — Delete from within Crowdsweep
- Log in and go to Settings → Danger zone.
- Click “Disconnect & delete my data.”
- This immediately revokes our access to your Meta account and queues all of your stored data for permanent deletion.
Option 2 — Remove the app from Facebook
- Go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites).
- Find Crowdsweep and choose Remove.
- Facebook automatically notifies us through our deauthorize and data-deletion callbacks, and we delete your data without any further action from you.
Option 3 — Email us
Send a request from your account email to privacy@crowdsweep.app and we will process the deletion and confirm when it is complete.
What gets deleted
- Your Meta access tokens (revoked and erased).
- All cached comment content and ad metadata we stored.
- Your moderation history and audit logs.
- Your account profile and settings.
Timeline
Access is revoked immediately. All associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days, and usually much sooner. If any data must be retained to comply with law, we isolate it and delete it as soon as that obligation ends.
For developers / Meta App Review
Our programmatic data-deletion callback (which parses Meta's signed request and returns a confirmation code) is available at:
https://crowdsweep.app/api/data-deletion
The deauthorize callback is at https://crowdsweep.app/api/deauthorize. Both should be configured in your Meta app under Settings → Basic and Facebook Login → Settings.
